To be perfectly frank, I haven’t had the opportunity to think critically about this experience. There are only a few things I know for sure.
1) I stepped out of my comfort zone, and that’s something to be proud of
2) I wrote stories I can stand by
3) I didn’t experience much rejection dysphoria after learning I hadn’t progressed to the final round
If nothing else, these three things are more than enough to gain from this experience. I may come back and share more of thoughts if I ever manage to define them.
Spoons have been low, and well… -vaguely gestures to everything happening in the last 2 or 3 years-
We’re all just trying to get by, and I’m grateful to have found this opportunity, and to have had the ability and rampant support to take it.
